When should I hire a professional organizer?

Do you find yourself frequently looking for misplaced items? Do you find yourself moving one stack to a new place every few weeks? Do you tell yourself that if you just had more time life would be better? Then it’s time to hire a professional organizer! Let me work with you to create an environment that allows you to easily move throughout your home, feeling a sense of calm and the ability to live life simply.
What services do you provide?

I offer organizational support for every room in the house. Generally, these are available in 3 hour sessions. I also offer entire home organization, including downsizing and move ins/outs. Please note, that while light cleaning (wiping down shelves) is expected, lifesimplykc is not a cleaning service.

How much do you charge?
​
The initial consultation fee is $40.00. Additional sessions are at the rate of $40.00 per hour. All payment is due at the time of service in the form of cash or credit card.

Where are you located?
​
I am located in the Northland and am available to travel throughout the Kansas City metro area. Locations beyond 50 miles will be charged a travel fee of $40.00 for each session.

Do I need to be there?
​
During our scheduled sessions, you will be required to participate. I cannot make decisions about your personal belongings. Being organized isn’t a system, it’s a lifestyle choice. By working together we can accomplish your goals so you can live life simply.

How do I get started?
​
Simply go to my contact page and complete the information. I will contact you about setting up an initial consultation time. This time will be devoted to discussing your project, viewing the space, and determining the timeline for completion.

Do you provide organizational products?
​
During our initial consultation, we will determine your needs for organizational products. At that time you will have the option to use your current products or purchase new items. New purchases can be made by you or I can purchase them for an additional $25.00 shopping fee. Please note, this fee DOES NOT include the cost of the products being purchased.

Is there a cancellation fee?
​
When we schedule your session, that time has been devoted to you. If, for some reason, you are unable to keep your appointment, please contact me at least 24 hours in advance and we will reschedule. Same day cancellations, repeat cancellations and no-shows will be billed for the entire fee.
